Why massage therapy?

Your  body is telling you something if you suffer from…

  • muscle spasms
  • aches and pains
  • low energy levels
  • mental and physical fatigue

Medication can often only mask your pain, but massage by a trained licensed professional therapist can pinpoint, manipulate and relieve the pain

Studies have shown that massage helps to…

  • lower blood pressure
  • improve circulation
  • improve flexibility
  • improve muscle tone
  • improve the immune system

Massage relaxes the body, restoring your natural energy and your sense of well being. Your body will begin to feel the difference at once!

A typical session

Massage is provided in a pleasant, professional atmosphere.

A typical full-body message works the back, arms, head, neck, shoulders, legs, and feet. You and your practitioner decide which muscle groups will benefit most. A light oil is used to moisten the skin and prevent friction during the massage. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.

Massage can be administered in a wide range of therapeutic disciplines including:

  • CranioSacral therapy
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Swedish
  • Shiatsu
  • Sports Massage
  • Passive body
  • FrictioningYou will rest on an ergonomically-designed table, and you are free to talk, or just close your eyes and relax.

Typically,  a session lasts one hour, however some individuals prefer the more compete relaxation of a longer session. Massage can be part of a recovery treatment regime prescribed by a doctor, or simply part of your relaxation program.
